@HarcourtArmstrong: Actually I prefer 720p for TVs under 40". Many programs, especially sports, look smoother than in 1080i.
Amazon flip video deal is expired. That was yesterday's gold box deal.
1080i and 720p is about the same, 1080p is better
For a refurb, that is not bad. I have a slightly earlier model than this (B20U or B21U I believe), and it is not bad. Analog cable comes in extremely blurry, but that's expected. Upconverted DVDs and Xbox 360 look beautiful. The sound isn't half bad either; the speakers are 10W each instead of the standard, pathetic 5W found on most sets of this size.
Overall, a good buy. The only other sets you can find for this price are off-brands that suck horribly. This Sharp replaced an AOC I got at Radioshack. It was worse in every category.
Although, I got this one for less at Walmart, new. The shipping on the Tiger deal is a killer...
Only 720p? You gotta do better than that in this economy. I'd think about it if it were 1080i.
