Anyone have any experience with the xbox cooler? I imagine its not necessary for the newer models, and my old model is already fried.

If only A&E had DVDs of ALL their programs.....I'd buy the A&E Biography of Pete Townshend and the complete DVD set of Extreme History with Roger Daltrey in a second.

@hewhoroams: If you prefer a hovercraft to an xbox, then I suggest it.

The newer smaller GPU generate much less heat. And frankly, these system coolers are just loud and obnoxious. If your system is going to heat up to the point of melting and warping the board, I seriously doubt an overpriced external fan is going to help much.

@hewhoroams: I've heard nothing good about them, and I've seen pictures where they have shorted out destroying themselves and the XBox. They will probably replace the unit if it does that, but I doubt they will replace the XBox it was attached to.

@hewhoroams: The Intercooler used to be a bad purchase because it dreq power directly from the 360, causing it to heat up even more than it originally did. This one seems to pull power on it's own, but I still wouldn't recommend it because it will just increase the noise levels......and really, there's no wqay of knowing if it was effective at prolonging the life of your console.

Run your console into the ground, buy an Arcade version on the cheap later.

And how is $528.00 for a 32", 720p HDTV a deal?

the netbook deal isn't bad, but it looks like you'd only be saving $20-40 off the neweff price.
($20 is still enough to mostly fil my car with gas, though)

Not that I'm complaining, as I am not, but why do we get 4 sets of deals some morning, and 3 the rest of the time? Is the Deal Fairy fickle/flakey?
