My monkey wears velcro Kangaroos because he is retro.

Step 1: Polish shoe with banana skin.
Step 2: Watch as family dog eats banana scented shoe.

No thanks I spent enough time training him to leave the shoes alone why should I make them irresistible to him?

Where does one find these shoe shining monkeys? Do they pay them or do they accept the leftover bananas as payment? If they have been doing this for millennia why was this not mentioned in your past article advocating monkey ownership Chris?

Question: Can I pay a monkey to polish my shoes with a banana?

I still polish mine with Kiwi. The ground-up innards of the rare bird that is.

Hit youtube and query "chimp and frog" and you'll find a chimp polishing something more than his shoes with a poor captive frog which he found in his enclosure at the Honolulu Zoo.

Tool use INDEED!!!!

I wouldn't do it. My monkey ended up polishing my shoes with feces. Next time, I'm just going to do it myself.

Wow! An actual use for the Huffington Post!

I've heard this before; you're supposed to use the inside of the skin. But I've never in my life met anyone who tried it.

I supposed it could be good if you find yourself at a formal event with scuzzy shoes, in the jungle.

At last, those hundreds of dollars I spend on shoe polish can go toward something else!
