Salmonella Peanut Butter Explains Some, But Not All Illnesses
For those of you following along with the 3-month-long salmonella outbreak — the Minnesota Department of Health has confirmed that the strain of salmonella in the commercial peanut butter is the same as the one causing the outbreak.
The mystery continues, however, because there are still cases from states where that brand of peanut butter is not sold.
No peanut butter from this company has been sold directly to the public.

I got it from some Peanut Butter but was fine a day later. They do sell this brand of peanut butter to the public my local food lion stocks this brand peanut butter and jelly. I got really light headed, puked, and went to the bathroom alot for about a day and it was fine. I always wonder how this stuff gets into our food supply though.
Not sold *directly* to the public, just to food service. So of course some ended up in public digestive tracts unless it was all used to remove bubble gum from hair. But it matters because we don't all have to run to our cupboards and fridges to check lot numbers on jars (unless we run a cafeteria or the like).
In the book The Brief History of the Dead two worlds are destroyed because of a virus in a brand name ubiquitous food product.
What peanut butter do I want? crunchy, creamy, low sodium creamy, low sodium crunchy, organic crunchy, organic creamy, organic no sodium creamy, organic no sodium crunchy, organic cream with salmonella, organic creamy, low sodium with samonila, organic crunchy with salmonella, organic creamy, low sodium with salmonella. What ever happened to just planing old salmonella.

If it isn't Pb poisoning, it's PB poisoning.
