I can only say that I'm a big fan of shepherd's pie, which is hamburger, mashed potatoes, corn and gravy baked as a casserole. It's a traditional Irish dish. But I have to say a good homemade dish of it is miles above anything KFC could come up with.

Patton has been one of my heroes for a long time now. The sketch you mention here always reminds me of another comedian's, Jim Gaffigan's bit on bacon.
The hippies I know kill their own food, skin it, boil the bones for jewelry and tan the hides for mittens. Just sayin'.
