@lannister80: Ah this is quickly degnerating into this:
(at about 1:40 in)
"Shoebox? You were lucky. My hard drive was wrapped up in a rolled up newspaper...."
@rpm773: I'm actually glad it was out of stock. I don't have a computer that could take that RAM at the moment, and yet I was compelled to buy it as it was so cheap, falling for the same stuff as people who buy the most useless things just because they're a bargain.
In my defense, I might build a new computer in the near future.
@Blaaaah: I hope that's some superfine RAM, since I bought this roughly a month and a half back: [www.newegg.com]
As Admiral Akbar warns us:
IT'S A TRAP!!!
That AOC TV is garbage. I bought a comparable model on Black Friday because it was the same price, $400. The sound was terrible, the picture was pretty pathetic, the backlight bled onto the screen, and the features of the set were lacking. I ended up returning it within two weeks.
I bought a replacement Sharp at Walmart for about $2 less (still on sale, though). The picture is much clearer, the sound is better, there is no bleed from the backlight, and the feature set is much better.
As far as TVs go, for me it's name-brand or nothing. I can speak for up & comer Vizio, but there will be no more AOC's in my tech purchases' future.

Gah! Would SO jump on that memory, too, if it weren't $50 to start with :(
