That Toshiba LCD deal appears to be from TigerDirect, through Amazon. Big difference in service and return policies, IMHO. Still looks like a pretty sweet deal if you take your chances that it'll be perfect.

I noticed you didn't include any rebate offers this time. Thank you for that.

I'm hoping and praying that Amazon sale will save my skin. The semester starts next Tuesday.

Apple's had the Nano offer for a while... I bought one in December and it works great. Unless I'm mistaken, only the silver Nano is $79. Other colors are $99.

@emona: The $79 Silver one is 4GB the other colors are 8GB. That's why they are $99.

amazon's also got some serious discounts on DVDs of TV shows. I just got 2 seasons of the simpsons for $42 shipped...

I really can't find fault with that Dell. That's unusual. I usually find a major caveat, but it seems like it would be a great workstation out of the box, and with a video card it'd be decent for games. I guess the low price is for the fact that it has a Pentium rather than a Core 2 Duo?

@jklug80: Ah, I completely missed that. Thanks!

Where are all the posts today? I'm going through withdrawl without my Consumerist posts!

user-pic

@Ash78: That's a really, really good price on that TV. I bought the exact same one at Costco for $749, which was also an amazing price. But, I would much rather use the Costco Amex card and double the warranty, and know that if I have issues Costco will take it back. I have had one nightmare of an experience with Tigerdirect - and it scared me away from ever buying there again.

@emona: I might have to hit up that nano. My Mini's battery is starting to go downhill. I had forgotten that Apple has some pretty good prices on their refurb stuff.

Great. Amazon has the textbook sale the one semester I don't need to buy any new books.

The MSRP on that Canon printer is only $49.99, as listed at the Canon site, and it seems to be a discontinued model.

@downwithmonstercable: Yeah, my old 5g hard drive is dying. And I've started running and I'm kinda miffed tht the Nike thing only works with nanos.

@TVarmy: I wonder if it would run Ubuntu. I might have to pick one up.
