My wife was at this web page a few weeks back and saw a toy our son played with on there. It was a kids workbench with 2 screws that were a choking hazard. We contacted the company, they immediately sent us a prepaid mailer
and a $50 dollar check for our trouble
we bought the toy at a yardsale for 3 dollars just a few weeks earlier.
@homerjay wants Boston Legal back!: Call your most anal-retentive friend with kids and have her look through them. I have a friend who's like the encyclopedia of toy recalls.
Why would you not just go to the CPSC Recall page and search their database which is more comprehensive and more timely? ([www.cpsc.gov])
The Parents.com page does not have recalls that were anounced earlier this month and comes with the following disclaimer: "Our database is not comprehensive. For more complete information concerning recalls, visit www.cpsc.gov"
Go directly to the source, or better yet sign up for recall anouncements to be sent directly to you [www.cpsc.gov]

Oddly enough, Johnny Switchblade: Adventure Punk, isn't in that database.
Go Figure.
