The Dynex TV is not worth $50.

The Tiger Direct thing isn't all that free. I had to pay $9 for ground shipping.

Still, the same model is $10 at Worst Buy plus tax so I'll wait a few days to save $1.50 and to avoid setting foot in there.

I'm really wondering if that TV is worth it. 1080p 42" for $600 is unbelievable. Contrast ratio probably sucks. but I bet it's better than the 8 year old non-HD rear projection TV I have. My only concern is reliability, anybody have any idea of if Dynex is even remotely reliable? Or is it gonna fry in a couple weeks?

Don't need the Tivo Cookie Cutter. My ReplayTV one is still working just fine.

I am some mad at Reader's Digest I tried to place my order for my grandma who loves the magizine and I kept getting this error: The following error(s) occurred:
