The “Mystery Shopping” check scam we wrote about a bunch of times about is still fooling people. Here’s something to memorize: No matter what, if someone asks you to deposit a check and send them a smaller amount of money — you are about to get screwed. [Local 6] (Thanks, Patrick!)
