The TIVO offer is no longer honored but they don’t tell you that until you give them your contact information…
No more Tivo cookie cutter. Of course, it waits till you submit the info before it tells you that. Sneaky.
@Git Em SteveDave loves this guy->★: I wondered if anyone would even try for that deal. Are we so hard up this holiday season that we have to seek corporate sponsors to subsidize our cookie-baking supplies?
Hey, frost it right and you can tell the kids it’s a Christmas present…with legs…
@Git Em SteveDave loves this guy->★: Yup, I was about to post the same thing.
@Git Em SteveDave loves this guy->★:
I saw the cookie cutter on Gizmodo yesterday afternoon/evening and they were still available. Guess there are alot of people who love Tivo enough to grab something like this. I am one of those people.
Not that I would ever bake Tivo cookies.
Ok, yes I would.
@jeffs3rd: Gosh. I guess there is a demand for them. I didn’t know people were so fond of Tivo.
@theblackdog: The alien you were supposed to get as a Christmas present, escaping.
@Git Em SteveDave loves this guy->★: In the TiVo dessert spirit, Comcast should throw its gift-themed hat in the ring.
Perhaps a box of condoms.
No, that’s not quite right. Comcast-branded boxes of condoms.
No, that’s not it either.
Comcast-branded, sandpaper condoms. With thousands of tiny, rusty fishing hook barbs lining the inside.
Perfect!!
Now we can finally share the Comcast yuletide experience!
The Planet Earth HD-DVD is brilliant. This is also the BBC version, which is highly superior in narration to the Discovery Channel version.
Nothing against Sigourney Weaver.
Just checked and it seems to be up to 30. Still, great deal, considering.
Yes….I own an HD-DVD player. Shame on me.
@ScubaSteveKzoo: Words cannot describe how beautiful The Planet Earth is. And, the British version, with David Attenborough narrating, is a preference we also share.
Uhhh, the Wal-Mart isn’t a free sample of the detergent. You get a card to sample the scent. Like one of the cheesy perfume scent cards.
@chemmy: @chemmy:
Times are tough…
I just submitted my info for a free cookie cutter and it said nothing about being out of stock. Maybe I’ll actually get one.
The Dynex TV is not worth $50.
The Tiger Direct thing isn’t all that free. I had to pay $9 for ground shipping.
Still, the same model is $10 at Worst Buy plus tax so I’ll wait a few days to save $1.50 and to avoid setting foot in there.
@undefined: I figured you could tell the kids they were alien cookies, they’d get a kick out of that.
That’s a great deal on the Reader’s Digest subscription. Unfortunately, if you ever sign up for one, they will send you junk mail for THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. It will follow you around forever!
Thank you for NOT posting Buy.Com ads today.
@IrvCrapper: Did you have a bad experience with buy.com? Or have you just made it your mission in life to complain about them?
@IrvCrapper: Can I e-mail you if I have a horse die on my farm? I figure you might want to beat it.
@IrvCrapper:
Seems quite clear to me that I made a very different point today than I did yesterday.
Lest I be considered a crank for only complaining about listing Buy.Com sales, I returned to give the site its propers. Evidently, you do much care for that. Matters of consistency and assiduousness aren’t appreciated by the braintrust that is Git Em.
I’m really wondering if that TV is worth it. 1080p 42″ for $600 is unbelievable. Contrast ratio probably sucks. but I bet it’s better than the 8 year old non-HD rear projection TV I have. My only concern is reliability, anybody have any idea of if Dynex is even remotely reliable? Or is it gonna fry in a couple weeks?
Don’t need the Tivo Cookie Cutter. My ReplayTV one is still working just fine.
$5 off Oders @ KB Toys?
Is the economy that much in the shitter that companies looking for new revenue streams are resorting to “Smell an Employee” specials?
/humor
…and I’m a bit mad that, as a TiVo subscriber for eons, that I don’t have a cookie cutter.
looks like cellhut.com isn’t the best place to do business: [reviews.pricegrabber.com]
@Git Em SteveDave loves this guy->★: And now you will get junk mail from Tivo forever. I once was thinking of getting DirecTV so I went online and gave em my info. Bad idea, because now I get crap from them almost every week, trying to act like I need to act now to get a deal! I stopped reading it. And I still have cable.
@lalaland13: There’s no such thing as junk mail from TIVO, it’s all amazing!!!!
errrrrrrrrr.
OMG they’re out of Tivo Cookie Cutters! Quick…eBay!
Dang – I wish we could get a deal like the Reader’s Digest subscription here in Canada!
I am some mad at Reader’s Digest I tried to place my order for my grandma who loves the magizine and I kept getting this error:
The following error(s) occurred:
We’re sorry, but your order could not be processed. Please review your billing information to ensure it is correct. If you continue to get this message, please call 1-888-217-3346 and we will be happy to place your order over the telephone.
No biggie so I called and they gave me the run around and was like internet only well its telling me to call you and you can help me out.
Kept asking for a supervisor and still on hold so lets see if it happens cause they want to call me back and who knows when that will happen if ever.
Lets just say if it wasn’t for my grammy I so wouldn’t be going through this.
@bluewyvern: I’m not a Tivo fan, but I do collect cookie cutters. That would have looked perfect hanging between the teapot and the banjo!
That Gap coupon is only valid at Gap Outlet stores, not a regular Gap store or Gap.com.
What can people do about the DTV promotion
whose converter box coupons expired
before they could use them?… the coupon program call center
and website issues 90 day coupons one time only.
