FTC Launches Older Patient Info Site
The FTC launched the strangely named "Who Cares" resource site for older patients and those who care for them. It's a reliable source for knowledge about generics, hormone therapies, hiring caregivers, hearing aids, and alternative treatments, located at ftc.gov/whocares.

@ceriphim: It's such a bad name, I'm wondering if perhaps they assigned designing the site to someone who doesn't speak English as a first language, and then the organization cared so little for the site they pretty much gave the guy a free pass, leading to him giving it a title with an unfortunate meaning.
That, or perhaps it was meant as a joke by somebody, and then it kept on getting green lit until it was actually on the site.

Hoo, baby, I accidentally did that with a headline once, back when I worked at a newspaper -- typed in a funny filler headline for a story to use until I could actually read the story and write a good one. And I forgot, and nobody else caught it, and it ran. Boy did my editors not find that amusing.
@Eyebrows McGee: I can not find the headline online, but back in the '80's, there were two guys running for a local city council in or near Seattle. One guy's last name was Dicks. The other's last name was Beaver. They met to debate. It became quite a fractious debate. Hilarity ensued the next day when the local paper ran the headline...
Very poor decision. The rest of the site seems very useful - and the "Who cares about..." box at the bottom changes with every topic. So you're actually seeing "Who cares about Medicare Fraud?" and "Who cares about Generic Drugs?" It makes sense there (and I like that they actually put together relevant links for each topic).
But, overall - very bad first impression.

Okay, I'll do it.
Who cares?
