Could you have photoshopped the box to say "suck 'em"? I would have laughed...

I'll bet the 128 oz jug of Jergens really came in handy

(Came in handy...now THAT'S meta!)

LOL!!! That is a great headline

The utz cheeseballs aren't nearly as good as the ones Planters stopped making a few years ago, but they are a somewhat acceptable alternative.

Someone should do something about these outrageous big box store profits! How dare they benefit from the struggles of others! I say take half of their profits and distribute it amongst those who are forced to buy their cheese balls in 10 gallon containers, and their deodorant 4 sticks at a time!

@12-Inch Idongivafuck Sandwich:

I agree completely, Planters cheeseballs were awesome. Used to always get a tube before a trip. I have had this brand and they are pretty good, but the problem is that I eat more then I should when the container is that huge.

I don't understand how BJ'S stays in business. Some stuff is lower, like if you buy name brand health and beauty stuff in bulk, and their deli, but everything else is way overpriced when compared to a grocery store. I only keep my membership pretty much for those things and the discounted gas.

Wow, UTZ is real? I just thought it was a fake snack company on Mad Men

I wonder if BJ is better than Costco. I'm thinking about getting a membership but BJ is not metro accessible in my area.

BJ's... Happy Ending... I get it.

@adrock75: Yes, UTZ is for real! And their products are excellent, too!

And - HEY! That's my photo from the Flickr Pool!!!

You had me at the headline.

Then you tossed in the Utz and people having the "blues".

@12-Inch Idongivafuck Sandwich: Wow forgot about those planters cheese balls. How I miss thee! But I'm so glad Utz sells them, as there is no other resource out there (unless I purchase the 100 calorie packs of cheetos cheese balls).

I work at BJ's so I can shed some light on how they "stay in business".

Yes, some things are much cheaper than other stores while some items are on par. Some depts. are priced much lower in order to draw people into the store more often. I know in my area (New England) the perishables are ALWAYS cheaper than grocery stores. Of course, grocery store sales can even the odds. Even then, I find the quality at BJ's to be much better for the money. Especially when it comes to deli & meat.
