Should you buy a DVD player from a shoe company? I mean, I know the Warped Tour is great, but what about their DVD players…..
@Git Em SteveDave loves this guy->★: Har har. *throws rock*
@crashedpc: Sadly for a second, I thought he was serious……
@nrich239: I seriously thought it was the Vans website at first and maybe they were selling some tech, like Hot Topic selling Xboxs.
Looks like drpepper.com is hosed.
Dr. Pepper site is overloaded
@Gstein: A way to get it working: Copy the URL, and just make it ‘[]‘ instead of ‘[]‘
Ignore the security cert warning. It is safe. The site loads much better.

@rpertusio: Oops, try this instead: [www.drpepper.com]
@rpertusio: seems ok now.
@rpertusio: And lo! a free Dr. Pepper should be on the way. Thanks for the link, it works.
might just wanna throw in there that the 320gb external drive is a 2.5″ so thats why its $110.
Dr. Pepper needs to get their crap together. They shouldn’t go around promising something they can’t provide. I’ve talked to 5 people today who have tried to get the free DP and can’t.
I’ll suck it up and call, but it’s pretty cheap of them to make this so hard.
@LoveNoelG: It says that you will receive your coupon in 4-6 weeks after you sign up…
@Jamezspot: Yes, but they are making it impossible to sign up. Site freezes up and 888 number is busy.
@LoveNoelG: um, it’s a free soda. At some point you have to calculate the value of your time spent pursuing this deal and realize that maybe you’ve earned yourself a $5 soda.
@res ipsa pasta: This is a consumer website, so what if it is a 59 cent giveaway? It’s the principle.
@LoveNoelG: But that’s my point. it ceases to be a 59 cent giveaway (and thus a ‘deal’) if you have to spend 2 hours (?) of your time claiming the prize.
anyone know of any $.01 items on amazon?
@LoveNoelG: When you press submit, if you let the site do it’s business it’ll load. Took about 5-10 minutes yesterday.
While I appreciate that Dr Pepper extended their offer, it doesn’t solve anything. The site is still overloaded and inaccessible and the toll-free number is still busy, just as it was the previous day. I emailed their customer service via the site’s contact form yesterday requesting that the company honor their offer. It was a last ditch effort, but I hope it works.
@azsumrg1rl: if you access the site with https instead of http, a la [www.drpepper.com] all works just fine.
@azsumrg1rl:
Yeah I know the feeling, I am feeling rather disgruntled myself. I tried the websight and could not get the request form to load for days, tried the 800 number repeatedly and couldn’t get through. Now the offer time limit is over and lots of people are out of luck. I’m a loyal Dr. Pepper drinker/fan, but this entire situation was NOT handled well and I am very displeased.
FYI. Don’t screw up and dial 1-888-drPEEPer.
Seriously
Wal-Mart DS game offer == Crap
They’re all bargain bin titles.
Might I suggest that the reason that Samsung is so cheap is that it’s a 50″ set with only 720p? If you’re going to buy it, make sure you sit really far away from it.
