Wow. I picked up the same Corsair 8GB Voyager drive at Fry’s last year for around $30 after rebate (about $60 retail). Thanks to Consumerist, I just recently acquired the 16GB version for ~$25. These are high quality, rugged, fast drives that you will not be disappointed in.
The advancement of flash storage capacity and pricing is absolutely nuts.
See, this is why I love you Consumerist. Thanks to you guys posting that 20% off code for PCMicroStore, I just snagged me a 120GB HDD for the 360 for $118 with tax. Normally it’s $150 (they say close to $180, but Microsoft has it for $150 on xbox.com), so yeah, awesomeness. I wish they had the grey model and not the black one, but hey, I just got it for 20% off.
I just wish I could have applied more than one code so I could also use that free 3-day ground shipping code that was on that site
.
@ModernTenshi04: Wait, it’s air shipping. I am a retard.
Just FYI before anybody gets excited… if you’re serious about saving money, ignore that 15% off at Brooks Bros. Anything there will still cost you about $800 after the 15% off.
The Chadwick’s 40% off code is CH18567, not BHOFF40
FYI, the $5 code on the Corsair doesn’t work. Still a good deal, though.
I ate that Nokia 500 up.
So wait… Ben: you’re pushing Buy.com in your Morning Deals section, and then bashing them with a Buy.com horror story later in the same day? Not a complaint whatsoever; just confusing to me. Mixed signals like ex-girlfriends send you, you know?
