that philips tv deal looks pretty good on the surface, although amazon has it for the same price without free shipping. There aren't any customer reviews ok either site, so I guess it depends on how much you trust buy.com. That's a price you'd normally see 26 inch TVs selling for.

@CountryJustice: A couple of years ago there were sumo wrestler costumes for sale similar to this concept. I think since that it was pretty popular they tried to make it a go with ninjas. It doesn't seem they thought this through, though, as there aren't any fat ninjas (except for that Chris Farley movie some time ago). I'm with you. It's stupid.

No, not unless they are the HD DVD combo discs. HD DVD combo discs are two-sided, one side HD DVD, the other side standard DVD. Those would be the only type that wouldn't be like throwing away your money. Amazon clearly lists which are that type and which are just HD DVD.
Also, on a standard DVD player, you could not play the HD DVD side.
On another funny note, Amazon still has its HD DVD combo disc of 300 at a price higher than the Bluray...
That's so strange, the inflatable line of costumes that's had the sumo, cow, etc has alwyas been $19.99 and less on sale. $27 for the ninja and it's a deal?
I actually have two of them that I use once or twice a year. One is a fat personal trainer costume I use for 5k foot races and a fat cute clown one that is just the perfect accompaniment to any scary clown mask.
I really don't understand that Ninja costume at all.
