@Hastin: That was a code at a store I worked at as a cashier. You would ask if "Someone saw BOB" to let them know someone "forgot" to put something on the belt from under the cart. Occasionally you would get a dumb person who forgot that part of training, and would be like "BOB who?", and you would have to use your eyes to point to the bottom of the cart.
@Hastin: Better than me thinking it was the "Battery Operated Boyfriend" Awards! I need to get my mind out of the gutter.
@Git Em SteveDave loves this guy-->: We had the same rule. I can honestly say I never tried it, because I felt like the biggest nerd in the world.
@InfiniTrent: I would have felt like a nerd, but products that don't get rung counted against our inventory, which affected my managers bonus, which was in direct correlation to his happiness. Plus, while some people were making an honest mistake, other people were trying to get stuff free, and I hate shoplifters.

With the assistance & incite of Consumerist.com you helped me save 350 dollars in early termination fees from Verizon ... you just got my vote !
BTW, you're in 6th place and I hope to see you move to # 1 !
