Friday Consumerist Flickr Pool Finds
Here are seven wonderful photos that readers added to The Consumerist Flickr Pool this week, chosen because they're both neat and could possibly be used in a Consumerist post. Our Flickr Pool is the place where Consumerist readers go and upload photos for possible use in future Consumerist posts. Just be a registered Flickr user, go here, and click "Join Group?" up on the top right, and start hitting "send to group" on your individual photos you want to add to the pool.

I think that the "JUMP" sign is in very bad taste. Yeah! You people who have been laid off from no fault of your own, commit suicide, you f*ckers! That people feel so justified in their illogical hate of anybody who holds a paper-pushing job, regardless of pay, is absurd. Not everybody can afford to make political signs, take the day off from work, and tell people who have fallen on hard times to kill themselves.
That struck a nerve, a little?
I'm sorry but I think that picture is funny. Anyone who sees this kinda sign and actually commits suicide has problems to begin with. Besides the fact that anyone working stocks should know that the floor can fall out at any time.
@Triterion: Who cares? It's an adorable little kid? It can probably be used for anything indicating government or the banks given the Grecian columns.
@Triterion: The same thing that Star Wars has to do with consumerism. Absolutely nothing...on it's own. They'd probably photo shop it for an article.
@MichaelBrazell: I think whoever it was meant either for the stocks to jump in price (if he had a level head) or for the people to jump the ship (if he was an idiot, which unfortunately is more likely).
@Lucifer_Cat: I'm thinking its a reference to all the suicides from the Depression back in the day.
That makes it more relevant if you consider the person meant that the idiots who got us into this mess should do the world a favor and remove themselves from the gene pool.
MHO
@zentex: I wouldnt mind if he meant the idiots to commit suicide. I'd totally vote for that actually.

I LOVE the "Jump" picture
