   Jacoby Ellsbury will always be the one synonymous with ‘free taco’. Screw whoever the new guy will be. Carl Crawford? Nobody’s ever gonna photoshop him into the Taco Bell logo. End it now.

   I’m not sure how good their prices are but Big Lots just started a “wootesque” ordered-online-deal-of-the-day until-the-item-sells-out type thing. Seems they are going to have a new one every day at 8am EST.

    Something I’m wondering, though, about the Taco Bell giveaway: Assuming the Rays don’t thoroughly curb-stomp Philly in four (:P) if bases get stolen in, say, games 2 and 5, would they give away tacos on both designated days? Because I’ll be damned if I have to spend the last day I’ll be in Las Vegas running around getting Taco Bell.

    Did anyone actually read the rules? This was my favorite: “Participating Taco Bell restaurant manager reserves the right to deny Free Taco to any person he/she reasonably believes has already received a Free Taco or has engaged in any other fraudulent activity.”

    I can’t wait for the consumerist post of the person who is denied a taco.

    … And he said I smell like taco meat and mild sauce, so I couldn’t have a free taco…

    What’s the fine print on the Taco thing? It doesn’t say someone has to steal a base AT the world series game..just during.

    Off to go find a little league game that’s at the same time as a WS game…
