Bright Eyes is really creeping me out.

user-pic

Dude what the hell is wrong with that hotdog in the gravy picture?

user-pic

So happy one of my shots (giraffmunky) made it.\m/

user-pic

That hotdog in the gravy picture looks DISGUSTING. It looks diseased!

user-pic

@Darascon: Brown (beef) gravy. When I lived back east that was the way to order fries in a diner.

After getting enough blank stares or Sausage gravy after I moved to Portland, I stopped ordering it. "Ranch dressing" is the big thing out here (eyeroll).

user-pic

Gravy, brown or otherwise, on fries is pointless without cheese curd - Poutine FTW!

user-pic

Can "Bright Eyes" never ever ever ever be used? Thanks. Ever.

Re: the IKEA picture...

Why?

user-pic

@badhatharry: You got a problem with Conor Oberst, you got a problem with me.

...Oh, the picture. Never mind.

user-pic

@laserjobs: I could have done without that. Definitely "unacceptable food".

@MercuryPDX: Looks red in the photo...meh.

Bright Eyes is freaky and awesome.

user-pic

@laserjobs: They are natural casing hot dogs. The skin expands as it's cooked, but then shrinks as it cools. So they get a "wrinkled" appearence. Here's a larger shot:

user-pic

@laserjobs: That's a "Texas Wiener". It's a New Jersey thing. They deep-fry hot dogs until the skin rips open.

user-pic

@Morton Fox: Needs cheese. I worked across the street from a Texas Wiener in Newark, NJ. 2.50 for an order of chili fries w/onions. Add in some chili cheese dogs wrapped in wax paper, that was a lunch!

user-pic

@Canino: some people were really excited for the ikea store to open north of cincinnati. the closest one was 250 miles away before that. check it!.

user-pic

Bright eyes is how I picture the customer service droids, almost human, but not quite. *shudder*

user-pic

mmmm...gravy fries. almost as good as gravy cheese fries. mmm...gravy chesse fries. almost as good as gravy chili cheese fries. mmm...gravy chili cheese fries. almost as good as gravy chili cheese fries with bacon. mmm...heart-attack fries.

/gets in car & drives to greek diner.

user-pic

@The SportsCenter Cycle Watch Intern: lol...maybe bedpanjohn could put together a ytmnd for our collective enjoyment.

user-pic

@Burgandy:

Maybe a caption of "Resistance is Futile" would help?

Cheers!

user-pic

there's something oddly sexual about the photo at the top - the woman with the big red smile.

user-pic

is that secret sauce on her tongue?

user-pic

Hey consumerist, my 2 year old daughter has her own photostream (Little Miss Becca), I added her to your group. If she takes any pictures of interest I will post them.

user-pic

@Canino: Because, despite all the IKEA horror stories you hear about on Consumerist, IT IS THE BEST STORE EVAR!

nuff said.

user-pic

i bet the photo i posted of the BofA VISA card I grilled will make next weeks pick.

user-pic

No hot girls in retro clothes? Epic Fail!

J/K Modestly cute nude girl will do.

I really don't get the Ikea cult. I mean, I've never been to one but I'd rather just buy antiques and high quality stuff than what I hear is just Target quality.

user-pic

@pdxguy: Oddly? You're doing it wrong.

@sketchy: Best poutine I've found yet is at a Chinese restaurant in Strathroy, Ontario. Go figure.

@badhatharry: What does the Watership Down soundtrack have to do with anything?

user-pic

@laserjobs: I think someone spoofed SNL's 'My D*ck in a Box'.
