@Darascon: Brown (beef) gravy. When I lived back east that was the way to order fries in a diner.
After getting enough blank stares or Sausage gravy after I moved to Portland, I stopped ordering it. "Ranch dressing" is the big thing out here (eyeroll).
@badhatharry: You got a problem with Conor Oberst, you got a problem with me.
...Oh, the picture. Never mind.
@laserjobs: I could have done without that. Definitely "unacceptable food".
@MercuryPDX: Looks red in the photo...meh.
Bright Eyes is freaky and awesome.
@laserjobs: They are natural casing hot dogs. The skin expands as it's cooked, but then shrinks as it cools. So they get a "wrinkled" appearence. Here's a larger shot:
@laserjobs: That's a "Texas Wiener". It's a New Jersey thing. They deep-fry hot dogs until the skin rips open.
@Morton Fox: Needs cheese. I worked across the street from a Texas Wiener in Newark, NJ. 2.50 for an order of chili fries w/onions. Add in some chili cheese dogs wrapped in wax paper, that was a lunch!
@The SportsCenter Cycle Watch Intern: lol...maybe bedpanjohn could put together a ytmnd for our collective enjoyment.
@Canino: Because, despite all the IKEA horror stories you hear about on Consumerist, IT IS THE BEST STORE EVAR!
nuff said.
@pdxguy: Oddly? You're doing it wrong.
@sketchy: Best poutine I've found yet is at a Chinese restaurant in Strathroy, Ontario. Go figure.
@badhatharry: What does the Watership Down soundtrack have to do with anything?

Bright Eyes is really creeping me out.
