Wasn’t it Burger King who sold their list of kids to the Selective Service a few years ago so they could makes sure they registered by their 18th birthday? Maybe the army is paying BK for this and they actually make money for every kid that is signed up.

[www.snopes.com] Since you are required by law to sign up for selective service, under penalty of fine, I don’t see a gentle reminder as that bad. Since Selective service goes through drivers license records as well, I doubt they are kicking back money to BK.
