Id steer clear of meritline. I ordered an iphone car charger on august 12th, it still hasen’t showed up.
@post_break: A lot of meritline’s stuff comes from Hong Kong. Even via airmail this can be pretty slow. I’ve ordered several items from them, they can take over a month to get to me!
aw I wish Woot shipped to Canada! Our vacuum cleaner just bit the dust and I’d love to have a Dyson…
I’ve never had a problem with Meritline, but it does often take more than a couple weeks for my shipment to arrive.
Ben, I think you just found the solution to the only problem I had in wanting to do a podcast. I’ve only done a cursory look, but that recorder looks pretty dang good.
If you have a local Hobby Lobby, check your newspaper each Sunday for their ad. They have the 40% off coupon roughly every other week, and it’s also always available online that week as well.
@MissPeacock:
I just wanted to add that Michael’s and Jo-Anne’s (in our area, at least) accept Hobby Lobby coupons as their own. Hobby Lobby also provides their coupons online without a sign up.
Oddly, one of the Michael’s in town won’t take Hobby Lobby coupons on Sundays reasoning that Hobby Lobby won’t either, since they are closed then. The other Michael’s stores do.
I think Michael’s has online coupons, too, but iirc, you have to provide your name, address, email and all that. As far as I know, to get Jo-Anne’s, you sign up and they physically mail them to you periodically.

@marsneedsrabbits: Yep. You can give them your e-mail address if you want and you’ll get coupons for use online as well.
Their shipping is expensive and slow though. At least the estimated time of delivery is slow for what you pay.
I might use that coupon to get this: [www.wrights.com]
I want circular needles but the idea of having to buy one not only for each size but for each cable length depresses me.
@speedwell: Are they a new model? It’s possible someone here already has them. (Not likely but not impossible)
Meritline is hit or miss. In the past I’ve received some stuff from them in 2 days. My last order I’ve been waiting for 2 weeks now.
are those binoculars any good? that seems like to cheap of a price.
@whitefang2000: How should we know? No manufacturer/model info is given on the site and none of us have had time to order and receive the item. The fact that it has a regular price of only $13.99 might be a tipoff, though.
