It's obvious that schools not teaching how to be a savvy consumer isn't working so hot.

Awww, the cut-off age is 18? I would give up all the wonderful summers at taekwondo camp I had in my youth just to go to personal finance camp today!
It's just a shame parents have to shell out a few hundred bucks to send kids to a camp when these lessons should be taught at home or at school.
Only if I also get to learn about fondling sweaters...errr...fondue-ing cheddar. Yeah. Fondue cheddar.

My sorority funds similar programs for urban schools, for free I might add. You'd be amazed how many school districts DON'T want their students to learn how to manage money.
