Each year Fortune magazine does a survey to determine America’s most admired companies. We took a look at their data and found the top 10 most admired companies for the quality of their products and services. We also found the least admired.
Oddly, beer topped each of the lists. Anheuser-Busch is the company most admired for the quality of its products, while Molson Coors is the least admired. The full lists inside.

I’m really baffled as to how 2 of the 10 least admired companies are dollar stores. I mean, do you really expect excellence at the dollar store? What kind of people were they polling that yielded not one, but TWO dollar stores on this hate list??
It’s not on the list, but Garmin (the GPS maker) should easily be considered one of the 10 best. Their customer service is something I haven’t seen anywhere else in this modern age.
Regarding interpreting surveys – for this one you should probably factor in the demographics of Fortune readers and how that can skew the results.
@Applekid: I’m an asshole, but my BMW has 230K miles on it, so don’t take it out on the car.
