I think I’m just gonna write negative reviews for everything and everyone.
When they offer to bribe me, if they really were bad, no dice. But if they were really GOOD, I’ll happily take down the false negative and put up an accurate positive. Everyone wins!
Well, they loose money… but yes, you win money.
I wonder if, like certain labor unions, consumerists will soon tip the balance and wield all the power in the marketplace through the power of the Internet. Would that be a good thing or not?
I’d take it down for $75 (~2 tanks of gas?)but I bet it’s like a credit to their crap site that you hate in the first place.
@ElizabethD: I don’t know…I think there enough people on the Consumerist to balance out the really outrages demands of a stupid consumer.
Then again…never underestimate the mentality of the hoard.
I bought two things from them on eBay not long ago. Their billing system double-billed me for shipping, so I contacted them to resolve it. They did, but only on the condition that I leave them positive feedback first. Fuckers!
Negative reviews certainly do get the companies attention on Amazon. I had a bum mp3 player, posted about it (and the poor customer support) and then got more help then I needed.
I updated the review once the issue was resolved.
