Now that Demonoid is back, who really cares about TPB? Way too many viruses and fake files on there. Too bad it wasn't the RIAA behind this evil deed instead of Warner Bros. Though I guess one self important organization which is out of touch with the times is the same as any other.

The guy works for the plaintiff and he's the head of the investigation...why stop there? Just buy the judiciary system to ensure the outcome is in your favor.
Lets ignore the fact that they were illegal helping to distribute someone elses Intellectual Property.

@Steve Trachsel, Ace: Your guilty until proven innocent trial by public opinion attitude is despicable. The trial is to determine IF TPB has done anything illegal, according to Swedish law.
A bittorrent tracker is not illegal. They expressly do not filter content in order to shield themselves from things such as this. If they were *filtering* the content and *allowed* pirated material, they would be in violation of the law - however, they merely accept user submissions.
The Pirate Bay operates fully in accordance with Swedish law. *YOU* might not like it, but that doesn't make it illegal. TPB has been raided several times, and the courts have sided with them in each and every case.

The policeman IS NOW in the employ of Warner Brothers, but WAS NOT at the time of the raid.

Almost everywhere has it worded to look like he was employed by them at the time of the raid because god knows that would be more scandalous.
@Anjow: Since TPB is still up and running, that kind of defeats their claims of it being a "reward for work well done".
While I'm not against bittorrent, I would like to TPB pimp slapped by reality a couple times. :)
