yeah, and no word about putting stranded pax on other airlines...powerful weak
Sotheast Airlines did the same thing. Overnight they just closed operations, even the employees did not know. They came to work to find out operations had ceased and that they weren't even going to get their paychecks.
From what I hear, Southwest deserves kudos for going out of their way to help ATA fliers in Midway.
Other than that, for them to close up shop so abruptly... It's very unusual. Even Aloha didn't do that.
