Get Fueled Up Before Turkey Day: National Average Gas Prices Could Hit Record High

woooohooooo!
I watched prices in my area go from $3.38 on Monday, to $3.52 on Wednesday, $3.62 on Friday, and yesterday they hit $3.70. I’m afraid to drive by my gas station today!
It cost me an extra $10 to fill up our VW compared to two weeks ago. I don’t want to even get into our grocery bill….
It was $3.36 at one station yesterday; across the street, it was $3.54. I could see which way it was going, obviously. But, only about 2-3 gallons down in the car, it didn’t make sense to brave the lines at the $3.36 place just to take advantage of the price before the jump.
Gas is $3.69 in the burbs of Chicago. I’m not even going into the city… has to be over $4 there.
In other news, everyone loves non-name brand mac and cheese now….
we reap what we sow…
Hey! Where is all that oil we stole from Iraq? You would think with all the free oil ‘bush lied to get at’ we would be taking oil baths.. Oh wait we didnt go in after the oil it seems….
Maybe the Fed Reserve can step in with the SCC and begin raising interest rates until the dollar rises back up?
