I wasn't surveyed, but I'd love to stream netflix through my 360. I use the instant viewing feature on my laptop a lot, but it crimps my neck.

This is something I always thought would be a great idea for Netflix to do. I'm a huge fan of Netflix and use the Watch Instantly feature quite a bit - if they add the Xbox 360 as an acceptable playing device, I would definitely use it.

Yes, no. AND has anyone else seen the netflix commercial where they are using a MacBook? But they still don't offer their Watch Now program to customers who use OS X?

Though I have been a subscriber for little over a month, so that's probably a factor to consider.
I am looking forward to this delivery method. I can already do it through my computer hooked into my receiver, but this would hopefully allow for 5.1 or 7.1 sound, instead of the stereo sound from my sound card.
I am a recent Netflix subscriber (jumped shipp from Blockbuster after 4+ years). I missed the survey, but own a 360. I would LOVE this! My 360 is in my home theater, hooked up to a projector...so I hope the quality is decent.
On a side note...I have a PC that meets all the requirements...but I still can't use their streaming to PC movie thing. Ugh. It always says I don't meet the requiremetns. While it may seem like a "free" feature, I feel like I'm paying for something I can't use.

Yes. No I haven't been surveyed. And until I M$ drops the ridiculous price of the 120GB Hard Drive add-on, I have no itention of making my Xbox 360 anything other than a game console and DVD (disc) playback device.
I'm still smarting from my choice of the HD-DVD add-on... :(
@jeremybwilson: You wouldn't need a large HDD to take advantage of this, as the movies would only be cached temporarily machine.

Yes, I was surveyed (several weeks ago, in fact).
It's a simple survey, they basically ask if you are aware of and use the "Watch Now" service on Netflix, and whether you'd use it more often if you could watch the videos via your Xbox 360 rather than only on a PC.
The survey ALSO asks if you own a Playstation 3, and asks if owners would use the PS3 to view Watch Now videos. The difference is that they qualify this by stating that PS3 users would have to pay a one-time fee to purchase a CD that would contain software that PS3 users would have to load onto their consoles in order to view the videos.
It's important to note that this entire survey (unless there's a brand new one making the rounds) relates ONLY to "watch now" videos, and not to movie rentals in general.

@Andy S.: I didn't know you could play any kind of movies on a 360. But I certainly rent BluRay movies from Netflix now that work just dandy on my PS3.
I'm kind of insulted they didn't ask me, too! We have an Xbox 360 and have had Netflix for 6+ years. We get Blu-ray movies to watch on the PS3, too.
I would love to be able to get Netflix through the 360 or Tivo. Only if it is HD though. I wouldn't be very interested otherwise.

Have a 360, don't have Netflix. If Netflix made this "Click To Watch" service available on 360, I'd be all over it. The current offering for movie rentals on the Xbox Marketplace is pathetic -- a meager selection of films ridiculously overpriced. If memory serves me right, it's $3 in SD or $4.50 in HD for an older back catalogue title, and $4 in SD or $6 in HD for a new release. I'd much rather pay $20/mo for unlimited viewings with no waiting.

There are a couple ways this could go. There have been attempts lately to use the Media Center Extender aspect of the Xbox 360 to watch Netflix streaming content. There is a good chance this is they way Netflix is looking to get content to the 360. The harddrive space would be a non issue then but of course, you would have to have a computer with Media Center. As this was not part of the survey it's not likely.
Or it could be a direct feed to the Xbox 360. Not sure how that might work until we see it. I do find it funny though that software was mentioned as needed for the PS3.
As both a Netflix and Xbox 360 user I cannot wait for this to all come to light. IMHO Netflix has the best quality streaming content available (at least for no additional cost) and gets more and more content to choose from all the time.
