This is a test contextual ad for the SHOPPING category. It should appear on all SHOPPING entries, unless the subcategory has its own ad.

This is what happens when you make your ice-cream lighter.

One of the phone's on CNet's no-frills list has an FM radio tuner. That propels it straight out of the no-frills category as far as I'm concerned.

I blame the cell phone industry, not CNet. This list is probably really the best the editor could find to fit the concept of the article.

Too bad none of them are available unlocked.

And the Nokia 2366i isn't available from VZW anymore.

I couldn't find the Sanyo one after just logging into my Sprint account.

It annoys me that I can't get a phone that has numbers, a directory, and the ability to make and receive calls. No radios. No speakers. No cameras. No email. NOTHING. I just want to make a call if I really have to. Sheesh.

@proginoskes: Good god FM tuners have been in phones for years and years, it is a trivial feature to include, and not one you ever have to worry about.

If you want a really basic phone look at ebay, but make sure you call the company up and check that it is still possible to be activiated.
