Wisconsin-based hunting stand company Ardisam Inc. has agreed to pay a $420,000 civil penalty to settle a government lawsuit. In 2004, the company recalled 78,000 hunting tree stands that "unexpectedly detached from trees," sending hunters tumbling to the ground. I can see a bunch of deer or duck laughing their asses off. Just flattens the shooting field.
