Tony Blair will join JPMorgan Chase & Co Inc, the third largest bank in the U.S., as a senior advisor. We wonder if Countrywide is courting President Bush for a similar position in 2009. [Reuters]

Random question: Is Blair Catholic yet?
GWB already announced his intentions. He's going to "replenish the ol' coffers." He's going to do speaking engagements for a while. While many of us may not want to hear him, there are plenty of fundies, hyperneocons, etc. that would gladly pay the $500 to hear him tell us that his greatest accomplishment as president was catching a big fish [also no lie, that was his response].
After that he'll probably be a figurehead of a think tank [insert joke here] and maybe serve on a few boards. I just don't think he's going to try to build houses for poor people, mediate peace talks, provide money for AIDS and the environment, etc. like some previous presidents, despite being "saved" and a "compassionate conservative"

What the fuck?
