"Possibly the wost wrestling in the history of the world"
That's a bit much, the guy was a champ in ECW and WWE. There have been, and will be, far worse wrestlers.
If you put into context that this ad is for a store in PA, which was made during the hey day of ECW, you see why they brought in Stevie for it.
None of you might get it, but at the time this was airing the audience they were going for, young men age 15-30, knew who he was.
As for the outfit, it was part of his "gimmick," which was to look like, well, a bafoon for the most part.
@Scazza:
Yea, but most of them wrestlers would kick both your and my butts without breaking into a sweat.
As fake and orchestrated as the matches may be, there is no doubt that somebody is strong enough to pickup a 350 muscle bound opponent and drop his arse to the ground.
@Scazza: The funny thing about wrestling is that 90 percent of it's real -- the blood, the blows, etc. It's just the outcomes of the matches that are predetermined, really.
That said, I will happily donate money towards that missing 1/2 shirt for Mr. Richards.
@parad0x360: Bullcorn. The worst wrestler in the world is clearly Hulk Hogan. I mean come on, a figure four leg lock is too complex for him. I'm surprised he doesn't blow out a knee while trying to tear his shirt off. And the leg drop? Maybe if he did it as part of some sort of flip off the top rope, but now it's just silly. That said, Suburban Commando was awesome.
@Scazza: I think you mean "Wrestling's" or "Wrestling is" - not "Wrestlings."
The key to sounding snobbish is to make sure you don't make any major grammar mistakes while you do it. :P
@Trae: @GinaLouise: @StevieD: Man, chill, it was just a joke. (please check for grammatical correctness)

ahhh Stevie Richards, quite possible the worst wrestler in the history of the world. I bet he did the commercial for free as long as they let him hang around for a couple hours so he could get out of the cold.
does the store look empty to anyone else? they have like 8 games
