Honestly, I'm shocked that the article claims it will only be $10. If it worked well, I'd be willing to pay much more than that for sanity on a 6 hour flight

Woo! Now I just need to dump this dell that lasts 15 minutes with WiFi enabled. Realistically, I wouldn't even bother even if it were free for a domestic flight. Would be great for flights to europe in conjunction with a power source, though.

@Red_Eye: Nope, no VOIP. They already learned their lesson on that. SAS used to offer Internet(using Boeing's Connexion service) on flights from Seattle to Copenhagen - people using VoIP headsets nearly caused a riot of enraged passengers.
