    am I the only one who sees the irony of the dell laptop horror story yesterday, and today there's Dell Notebooks in the morning deals?

    @Namilia:

    Haha. That's the VERY same thing I came in to post about.

    I was thinking about the Bioshock after two posts about their over the top DRM

    Anybody hit up the Walmart 8am sale today? I pulled the trigger on one of the laptops.

    I know Wal Mart is evil and all, but they have some great deals available in store only, today. I just picked up a Toshiba HD DVD player (model A2) for $98. It has some great reviews on CNet and Amazon and the cheapest you can find it on the web is $200. It's worth checking out if anyone's in the market for one. They also have a deal on Acer laptop's for around $350.

    @chemman: The laptop has an Intel Celeron, and Celerons suck, hands down.

    @theblackdog:
    Ah, yes Celerons do suck. I didn't even bother to check the specs on it because I'm not in the market for a laptop, I just saw many people in line around me buying them and thought I would mention it.

    Bought bioshock. Great deal, as per usual. Thanks consumerist!

    Bought the Bluetooth headset. Signed up for google checkout w/another credit card, got it for .99¢. Even if it doen't work so well, not bad for the price.
