Yeah, save yourself some unnecessary stress this Christmas and use FedEx instead of USPS. As far as I know, USPS only provides “guidelines” rather than guarantees.
So go to any FedEx (Kinko’s) store to ship your package.
Or better yet, open a FedEx account online [www.fedex.com] and you can print labels online, and either drop them off or request a pickup. FedEx will even send you free labels and express packaging!
USPS has worked just fine for me. I also don’t wait around until Dec 20 to mail anything. Usually it gets mailed around Dec 10 and it has 2 weeks to get where it needs to get. I don’t have to pay an arm and a leg to get it there in time or bite my nails about whether it’s going to get stuck somewhere in transit for days.
Nice pic for the post. I have a pic of one of those mailboxes from when one was placed in my town.
USPS said in a press release that the deadline for military delivery is Dec 2nd. GET YOUR IPODS FOR YOUR TROUPS NOW!
