If you're not familiar with streetwear culture, it involves lots of limited edition sneakers and worshiping Japanese youths, and that's about all you need to know. If you need to know more, read the satirical "So You Wanna Be A Streetwearer?" over at Don't Believe The Hypebeast:

Whatever it is, it's down already. According to IP and ARIN the website is on Dreamhost. Dreamhost is a whole 'nother can of worms.
Yeah, the site's down unfortunately, because I have to know if this is supposed to be ironic. But I'm totally founding a clothing line and then publishing a philosophy about rebellious it is to buy all my crap.

This is the most asinine concept I've ever heard of, and I'm praying that it's supposed to be ironic. But everyone knows that the only concept business understands is the bottom line, so the only voice you have is the one in your wallet. Business doesn't get irony.
I'm not sure if I'm relieved or disappointed to learn that this is humorously intended. Either way, get ready to buy lots of Beerad2009Wear coming out later this year.

Is this like the whole concept of emo where you try to be different but end up being just like everyone else as a result?
Also, if you really want to be different either make or design your own clothes, then you can be sure that no one else is wearing the same thing.
@SaraAB87: God I hate emo...I just want to punch them in the face. I was and always have been kinda goth since I was a kid, way before it was cool. I don't really fit into any style and thats the way I like it. But I am mostly dark and brooding I guess. Emo kids make us all look bad, come on if your life is that bad just make out with a shot gun for gods sake. Spare us the suffering.
