Has anybody else had a problem with Buy.com being out of these specials?

Based on the Spoofee posts, the Quickcam might be for $14.99 - still a great deal at either price.

I'd be all over that webcam if it wasn't $85 with an $80 mail-in rebate. Still a good deal if you're willing to wait, though.

@topgun: go to ripoffreport.com and search for buy.com. they have a rediculous amount of consumer complaints. i'm surprised this website is even promoting them.

we all need to email the consumerist about buy.coms deceptive practices. they advertise items at a huge discount but i bet they never actually hold true. it seems that all of their discounted items are never in stock, nor due they even bother to tell you until you email them a few times. you'd have better luck getting an item from a shady ebayer than these guys.

i use to get exicted about morning deals, now, i see its too good to be true. figures.

I got my order in. I think you just need to start checking the site earlier - I placed my order at 8:30AM EST.

I have made many excellent purchases at Buy.com, and they have never screwed me over. No-questions-asked returns, pre-paid shipping labels for returns, etc. And I have never had any problems with getting the advertised price.

Maybe I am a lucky one??

buy.com lets me place an order, but 2 weeks later it still hasn't even been mailed.
