I'm all for this if it can be used to address big-business wrongdoing and bad corporate behavior.
On a related note, several years ago a guy named Richard Ankrom placed his own freeway sign at an interchange since it was poorly signposted. The authorities got pissed off, but they decided to inspect it and leave it since it was just what was needed: [ankrom.org]
