Find Decent Holiday Airfare By Adjusting Your Dates
It's not too late to get good deals for Thanksgiving and Christmas airline tickets, reports WSJ, but you will have to be flexible with your dates. This is made easier because Christmas and New Year's are Tuesdays this year. For instance, a NY-Las Vegas roundtrip, Nov 21-Nov 25 would cost you $1,095 on American. If you instead leave Thanksgiving Day and come back Tuesday, it's only $335. Primetime seats will cost you a beautiful ugly penny, but if you slide your dates around, you can find more palatable fares.

@JohnMc: @crgriggs: @STrRedWolf: Check out the flickr link on the credit to the photo. I'm too tired to actully read it now and try to figure it out.
@ceejeemcbeegee: It's an entire calendar on one page. Not entirely useful to me, because I usually know the day (Thursday) and not the date (25th).
You pick the date (25) and follow up the column until you get the row with the current month in it (October) and Voila... it's Thursday!

I'd like to either visit my bf or have him come here, but why travel at the same time when everyone else is? Offset your trip a bit and save.
