It's worse. Researchers have found that Viagra helps cure jetlag in hamsters. Spammers are retooling to flood... er... target the critters.

Yeah, that's a statement not to get me started on. I know people who are doing this with actual mailings and it kind of disgusts me.

Well at least I'm not the only one. My mail server provider needs to work harder on filtering out that stuff. I've been getting a dozen at least in my inbox every day in the last week or two.

@synergy: my recommendation? If at all possible - collect and send your work email through a Gmail account (it can do this for any POP3). Somehow, it has NEVER failed me with letting in spam messages. It even lets through the personal messages that get labeled as "spam" by our server, which we used to have to dig through the spam folder daily to find, then whitelist. No more!
