Slow news day? Makes sense that MS wants to stay in the software business, since they don’t have the best track record for hardware( XBox RROD, Zune).
@nursetim: They make some great hardware. Keyboards/mice, the 360 controller, my 360 (which is 2+ years old and still working great). I dunno, they’re just not in the phone hardware business. Lots of partners in that space, making Windows Mobile for handset makers like HTC, Samsung, etc. No reason to get into the market and make their own handsets.
