Just a formatting note - putting numbers in parentheses (6.1%) usually means a negative value. I couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic about the sales numbers at first :)

Possible partial explanation: Back to school and college purchases? I know we spend a lot every August on school supplies, shoes, fancy calculators, all that jazz.
