    how does $880 - 180 = 600 ?? (on the Sony Laptop link) Hopefully that's a Dealhacker typo and not an Office Depot typo.

    I have that laptop... Paid $650 for it on sale at Best Buy some months ago. Runs pretty good aside from the annoying bloat-ware installed on it, and the fact that Vista stopped recognizing the DVD drive a week after I bought it (had to fix it by editing the registry because Windows had no solution for it). Otherwise it's a slick looking, quiet running, well designed option for those who can't afford a MacBook. The flat keyboard might be annoying to some people, though, so check it out in the store before you buy it.

    @HungryGrrl:
    Couldn't you just remove the bloat-ware then?

    There's a Newegg deal for a Thermaltake 2.5" external laptop drive enclosure. $20.99 and a $20.99 mail in rebate = $0.00!!

    @Primate: I did remove it, of course.
