There needs to be another Consumerist show on Jellyfish.

  4. TurboWagon00 says:

I know the theme is garage sale, but all of those items are worth less than UPS ground shipping in the continental U.S.

  5. angiepants says:

Ok I’ll bite – here are some useful things we’re getting rid of for cheap. That’s what a garage sale is for, eh?

Vonage VTech Twin Cordless IP Phones

    HP iPAQ Pocket PC

Orange Micro USB 2.0 Carbus 4 Port Hub

  6. JKinNYC says:

Your shipping costs are too high.

  7. Geekybiker says:

I really wish ebay had a use search filter so I could actually find the garage sale type stuff instead of wading through a couple hundred listings from resellers of chinese junk.

Ooh, I’ve got one. I just got an iPod classic, and I’m selling my 4G: [cgi.ebay.com]

    @boone:
Great eBay ad copy, Boone! Good disclosure of the iPod’s prior useage and issues,” which increases buyer confidence.

I’ll be adding tons of stuff to my eBay auctions over the next week. Trying to pay for going back to school for my master’s is not easy!

Look for some clothes, and lots of “nerd” stuff, anime items, etc.

  12. infinitysnake says:

Jeez, Ben, don’t they pay you? Seriously, you’d be better off giving that to goodwill and taking the writeoff.

We’re Power Sellers, so our auctions don’t qualify as “Garage Sale” stuff.

If there are any hat makers, or costume makers out there though, you might be interested in our vintage (1920s-30s) millinery supplies. All salvaged from a barn in Upstate New York where they had been hidden since the ’50s.
