Nowadays it seems like anyone can make a sign. I yearn for the olde days of sign making when you actually had to know something about signmaking to do it. Signmaking was restricted to knowledgeable guild workers. The penalty for non-guild workers making signs was death. By signmaking.

Isn’t this a repost?
This is at least the third Wal*Mart negative rollback story and at least the 4th Wal*Mart sign with an obvious flaw error. Can it please be the last one – at least in the negative rollback series. Feel free to set up a Flicker page that collects them, but they just are not “News” anymore.
Watch out for rising prices!!!
At least when I worked at the Wall-Mart they were smart enough to raise the price and just fake the roll back price so that it was lower. It always irritated me they would do that, I guess maybe negative rollbacks is more honest.
This is the thrid time we’ve seen this! Who’da thunk that Wallyworld hires nincompoops to do their signs.
C’mon. On with the news.
You can’t automatically blame Wal Mart. Years ago me and a friend used to go through Wal Mart and change the signs. The signs are made using flip cards that have all the numbers 0-9 on them. So just pull one out and flip to a higher number. There is no telling how many people we ticked off.
@txinfo: Things like that just make me say “why?”
So….now that the Nazi shirts are all gone, these will be the bi-weekly posts about Wal-Mart?
Well, when you stop making products of of lead and antifreeze, and stop using slave and child labor, prices will go up.
Though this doesn’t explain why the prices of anything in Walmart would go up…
i’ve noticed them to rollback a price by a dime, and have a clearance item for 50 cents less….
wowee………….
wowee, big deal
