Umm…. Duh? Who would imagine that Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, which are when anyone flying for a weekend trip would fly, are busier and more expensive?
I had a cheap flight that left on a Thursday~ the airline was terrible so I won’t even go into that…
I forgot to add the fact that you get what you pay for in my case…

Actually those are the business travel days you mention, so most of the seats are filled with higher paying travelers. Meaning less demand on the other days.

as you pointed out–they don’t make much money on leisure travel…..but they make bank on business trips, where it is often desired to have nonstops, specific flights, etc….
