If the death penalty is meant as a deterrent, this is the proper way to use it. You don't kill people who have nothing to live for, you kill people who have everything to lose, and then put them up on a stick as an example to the rest. Where's the CEO of Haliburton about now? Oh yeah, hiding.

I really feel and wish that we executed corrupt business people here in the States.

@agent2600: You call China psychotic for being harsh on corruption because you've never lived nor visited, much less suffered in a country where this kind of evil (corruption) is endemic.

I live in a country where corruption is everywhere, where the pigs people vote for fly around the world on first class tickets using tax money, drive around in BMW's (with another Porsche in the garage), live in huge mansions while the regular guy lives like a #$%ing animal, and some can't even afford a shirt and walk around like barbarians, eat only once a day and have kids who have to beg in the streets.

To tell you the truth, to LET THE CORRUPT LIVE is far more cruel that to immediately execute them in the worse possible manner as their continued existence in whatever land they live in spreads a miasma of grinding suffering and condemn thousands to a slow, agonizing death from their corrupt ways. Be thankful that you don't have to suffer the arrogance and sick mind of the corrupt politician, but for pete's sake don't cry about the deaths of these subhuman monsters and act like this is some marvelous statement for human rights!
