Having left the Mortgage Industry after last summer, I can attest that most people having to the second to last response.

  2. timmus says:

I might feel a little sympathy about your mortgages if you all would sell your goddamned $30,000 SUVs and 2-ton pickups. That’s about all I see on the road these days.

  3. timmus says:

Post, come on, post. Come on!

  4. timmus says:

There. What’s up with this commenting system?

  5. TWinter says:

@timmus: This commenting system is just a bit erratic. Just like the quality and spelling of the stories and the quality of the comments. Maybe it should be renamed Consumerraticist?

My wife and I got our debt under control just in time. We aren’t living like kings, but we aren’t getting calls from collectors either. We calculated that, at this pace, our credit cards and ‘stupid debt’ will be paid off within two years.

Hmm… I like the leveraging body organs option. How much does an unused adult brain go for these days (because many of the people who signed up for these subprime mortgages certainly weren’t using theirs).

This meltdown is going to really hurt the US. It’s even starting to trickle over into construction loans: The Uncertain Future of Stated Income Construction Loans.

Is it necessary to have profanity in the piggybank picture? I’d like to think of this site as mostly family friendly.

    Lighten up, Francis.

  12. Imaginary_Friend says:

I like the profanity. If ever a situation called for generous droppings of the “F” bomb, this is it.

  14. CumaeanSibyl says:

@Cy Guy: What, the site that makes frequent and liberal use of the word “douchebag”? Totally.

@timmus: Y’know, when you post your comment, the little notice box says “your comment will be posted shortly.” So maybe it’d be a good idea to wait for more than thirty seconds to start worrying about it? I dunno, just a thought.

  15. forever_knight says:

@timmus: how about being patient and not spamming the rest of us when your comment doesn’t show up immediately?

  16. ScoobyLover says:

@forever_knight: What’s up with the comment system? I threw in a (actually relevant to the post) comment a few hours ago and have yet to see it go live.

  17. RandomHookup says:

Well, it is more family friendly than Fleshbot.

Well, there is a lot of pussy* on these pages.

I can see myself being in the 17% who gets a job at the loan office bringing it down from the inside, only to get the loan company bought out by another mean loan company
