    I’m waiting for the second generation because the current phones are 2G only. It’s not the network that’s slow; it’s the radio in the phone. (although maybe you are outside of a 3G-covered area, in which case just be patient — I’m sure coverage will be expanded as time goes on).

    Hey guys, I love your site, but could you please give those of us who are color blind a break? Your use of maroon (or whatever color it is) makes it very difficult to figure out what word/phrase is actually a link. I had to mouse-over each word in the above post to figure out where the link was.

    The article you are linking to is downright stupid.

    The biggest complaint people had was that the “browser crashed from time to time”?? MAYBE BECAUSE YOU WERE GOING TO A SITE THAT WAS USING A SCRIPT OR PLUG-INS THAT THE BROWSER WASN’T MEANT TO VIEW. IT HAPPENS ON DESKTOP PC’S ALL THE TIME WITH FULL BROWSERS INSTALLED!

    Half that friggn article doesn’t even talk about the iPhone itself from a software and hardware point of view.

    You titled this story as:
    “New iPhone owners gripe about features and glitches. [PC World]“

    INCORRECT! THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE IPHONE ITSELF IS HAS TO DO WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF USING AT&T WITH THE IPHONE!

    WE ALL KNOW AT&T SUCKS! IT DOESN’T MEAN THE IPHONE ITSELF AS A PIECE OF HARDWARE HAS ISSUES!

    Stop with the sensationalism!

    @metalhaze:

    Well, if you took the time to stop shouting & stomping & screaming, you’d find people on forums making lists like this (I just cut & pasted):

    -Easily scratched plastic back: Check
    -Spontaneously cracking plastic back: Check
    -25% increase in monthly bill: Check
    -Dropped calls: Check
    -Yellow screen: Check
    -No pack in dock: Check
    -Pathetically small 3G network: Check and double check

    Granted the last item is as much AT&T as anything… but the point is that owners of the first iPhone have reason to be a bit smug right now.
